Why Gemini? First, being born in May, Coach KK’s zodiac sign is that of the Gemini. The Gemini logo for Gemini Multisport is a polished, powerful symbol, metallic in nature.
The two pillars of the Roman Numeral II have several meanings, along with the circle which surrounds them. Each pillar represents first of all (from Greek mythology, the twin sons of Zeus—Castor and Pollux.) They had the same mother (Leda), but different fathers, thus, Castor was mortal, and Pollux was immortal. Pollux was the son of the chief Olympian God, Zeus. Their sister was Helen of Troy. According to legend, they were hatched from the same egg. The boys grew close as brothers and became widely famous for their athletic abilities. The Olympic games came about as a result of their prowess. With the Olympic games through legend, tracing their history back to the Gemini twins, Coach KK thought this would be a rather athletically historical symbol to represent Gemini Multisport.
The circle which surrounds the “II” adds the symbol of infinity. This goes hand and hand with the motto: “How far do you want to take it?” If you want to be the best, and keep improving, you can do so…infinitely. In addition, one pillar of the “II” represents the “now” and the other is the “future” self. In a sense, where you have been, and where you are going. It is Coach KK’s goal that your experience with Gemini Multisport will change you forever…infinitely, both positively as an athlete, and person.
It is our mission, to provide you, the athletes, with the highest quality, personalized, and life changing coaching experience possible. By working with a smaller and focused group of athletes, we can provide you with a more personal, family-oriented program using the entire spectrum of latest science and coaching techniques. We are less about numbers of coaches and athletes (more of a team than a gang), and instead, about focused and solid, measurable results.
